Diving Supervisor Course

This course is an examination of the physical laws required by the unrestricted surface-supplied diver. Topics include units of measure, pressure change, the properties of gases and liquids, and air consumption. Emphasis is placed on calculations involving the application of these physical laws.

You will have a final exam during session five that will be worth 100% and will cover the material of all five sessions. The exam will include three sections: written questions, calculations, and word problems. A formula sheet will be provided. When writing the exam, a calculator may be used, however, notes and loose papers will not be permitted. You must obtain a grade of 70% to pass the course.
